This 5-day foundation course is designed to provide new and entry-level personnel with a comprehensive understanding of the airside environment. The program focuses on the critical rules, regulations, and safety procedures that govern activities beyond the passenger terminal. Participants will explore the layout of the airfield, including runways, taxiways, and aprons, and learn about the various stakeholders involved in airside operations. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of situational awareness, Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention, and safe vehicle operations in a high-risk environment. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical demonstrations, attendees will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and efficiently on the airside, supporting the overall safety and performance of the airport. By the end of the training, participants will be familiar with the basic principles of airside safety management and the operational procedures required for aircraft ground handling and infrastructure maintenance
