ICS Aviation Training Institute Delivers In-House Training for Cluster 2 Airports
ICS Aviation Training Institute is proud to continue supporting Cluster 2 Airports through the delivery of specialized in-house training programs across multiple locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The training was delivered across key airport locations, including Riyadh, Hail, Abha, Qassim, and Taif, reflecting ICS’s commitment to bringing practical and customized aviation training directly to airport teams. The in-house training journey included a structured schedule of specialized courses delivered across multiple airport locations. In Hail, the program covered Heliport Design and Planning from 6 to 10 July 2025, targeting 18 participants, followed by Apron Management from 13 to 15 July 2025, also targeting 18 participants. In Riyadh, the program included Safety Auditing for Ground Services from 6 to 10 July 2025, targeting 17 participants, and Airport Facilities Management from 14 to 16 September 2025, targeting 25 participants. Additional training was delivered in Abha through Terminal and Landside Operations from 5 to 7 August 2025, targeting 23 participants; in Qassim through Apron Management from 26 to 28 August 2025, targeting 21 participants; and in Taif through Wildlife Management from 9 to 11 September 2025, targeting 21 participants. The program also included virtual sessions on Aviation for Non-Aviation Professionals, delivered on 22 September 2025 and 22 October 2025, each targeting 30 participants.
The in-house training approach allows each program to be aligned with the specific needs of the client and the operational environment. By delivering training directly within the organization, ICS ensures that participants benefit from relevant, practical, and operations-focused learning. The program supported a wide range of airport functions and operational teams. Training areas included Aerodrome Safety, with topics such as Heliport Design and Planning, Safety Auditing for Ground Services, Wildlife Management, and Aerodrome Safety Management incorporating PANS-Aerodromes. It also included Aerodrome Operations topics such as Apron Management, Terminal and Landside Operations, alongside Aerodrome Maintenance topics including Airport Facilities Management and Contracting and Stakeholder Management. To support wider airport teams, the training scope also included Support Services and All Staff topics, such as Aviation for Non-Aviation Professionals and Aviation Security Awareness. These areas helped strengthen shared understanding across technical and non-technical teams working within the airport environment. This initiative supports the development of technical knowledge, operational readiness, safety awareness, communication, and leadership performance among airport professionals. It also strengthens the ability of teams to respond effectively to real-world aviation challenges. Through its continued work with Cluster 2 Airports, ICS Aviation Training Institute reinforces its role as a trusted aviation training partner, supporting airports with tailored training solutions that contribute to safer, more efficient, and more resilient operations.
