ICS Aviation Training Institute Launches Airport Leadership Program in Riyadh

ICS Aviation Training Institute is proud to announce the launch of the Airport Leadership Program (ALP), launched on 26 August in Riyadh. The program marks an important step in developing future-ready aviation leaders across the Kingdom by providing a structured learning journey that combines technical knowledge, leadership development, regulatory awareness, operational excellence, and international exposure. The Airport Leadership Program includes a series of specialized in-person courses delivered across several key locations. The journey begins in Riyadh with the Airport Safety & Sustainability Course, followed by Airport Operations, Security & Maintenance Services in Jizan, and the Crisis Management & Chain of Command Course in Abha. Each course is designed to provide practical knowledge, real-world airport scenarios, and hands-on learning that supports stronger decision-making and operational readiness. The program also includes a virtual learning track covering essential topics such as Technical Report Writing, Passenger Experience & Smart Airports, Data Analysis & Forecasting, and the ICAO Aerodrome Inspection Course. Across the learning journey, participants are introduced to key aerodrome disciplines that support safer and more efficient airport operations. These areas include Aerodrome Safety topics such as Heliport Design and Planning, Safety Auditing for Ground Services, Wildlife Management, and Aerodrome Safety Management incorporating PANS-Aerodromes. The program also connects participants with Aerodrome Operations topics including Apron Management, Terminal and Landside Operations, as well as Aerodrome Maintenance areas such as Airport Facilities Management and Contracting and Stakeholder Management. As part of the international learning component, participants took part in the International Immersive Airport Supervisors Training in collaboration with AHLEX in Brussels, offering valuable exposure to global aviation practices and international airport leadership environments.
