ICS Aviation Training Institute Delivers International Immersive Airport Supervisors Training in Brussels
ICS Aviation Training Institute, in collaboration with AHLEX Brussels, successfully delivered the International Immersive Airport Supervisors Training from 2 to 6 February 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the Airport Leadership Program’s international learning journey. The immersive international program provided Cluster 2 airport supervisors and emerging leaders with direct exposure to international airport operations, global best practices, and leadership approaches within complex airport environments. Throughout the program, participants engaged in expert briefings, leadership development sessions, scenario-based exercises, operational observation, and experiential learning activities focused on communication, coordination, decision-making, and supervisory responsibility under operational pressure. A key part of the experience was the exposure to Brussels Airport and Airport Operations Control Center coordination. Participants observed real operational environments, stakeholder integration, and live decision-making processes that support safe, efficient, and resilient airport operations. The AHLEX international experience added a valuable global dimension to the overall Airport Leadership Program. It complemented the in-person and virtual courses delivered through the program and supported the development of well-rounded aviation professionals with stronger operational awareness and leadership capability. Through this collaboration, ICS Aviation Training Institute continues to expand its international partnerships and strengthen the value of its training programs by combining regional aviation expertise with global learning opportunities. This initiative supports ICS’s mission to shape the future of aviation by developing exceptional leaders, strengthening operational excellence, and building long-term capability across the aviation sector.
